Lessons From The Pros
Welcome Mark Gradin!We are very happy that Mark Gradin is back in Hood River and has joined the team at Indian Creek as our new Head Golf Professional. Some of you might remember Mark, his wife Kim, and their two sons Matthew and Tyler. They first moved here back in 1986 where Mark started his management career with AmeriGas Propane. In 2001, he accepted a job transfer to Southern California as their Marketing Manager.
In 2004, after twenty years in the propane business, he decided to make a career change and pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a PGA golf professional. He was fortunate to start his apprenticeship at the Southern California Golf Association Golf Course under the supervision of Mike Raschko. Mr Raschko has been recognized as one of the top fifty junior and women PGA instructors in the United States. The highlight of Mark's tenure there was meeting Tiger Woods and participating as an instructor at Tiger's new Learning Center in Anaheim.
Mark is currently a Level II PGA apprentice as well as a certified golf fitness instructor from the Titleist Performance Institute. Mark has always had a passion for the game of golf, and now teaching and fitness are part of his resume. Make sure to stop in and introduce yourself or say hello to an old Hood River friend.
